Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week with overtime as needed Job Summary We are seeking experienced Concrete Carpenters to work on a federal construction project in the Edinburg, Texas area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the trade, be dependable, motivated, and able to work productively in a fast-paced construction environment. The position requires the ability to work extended hours and perform physically demanding tasks. Candidates must be prepared to work approximately 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Build, install, and remove concrete forms used to shape concrete structures.

Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other construction materials.

Set, align, and secure concrete forms according to project specifications and measurements.

Read and understand measurements, plans, drawings, and project specifications.

Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Construct and assemble forms for foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and other concrete structures.

Assist with concrete placement and finishing activities when needed.

Inspect forms to ensure they are properly positioned, aligned, and secured before concrete placement.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all jobsite safety rules, regulations, and procedures.

Work productively and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

Perform other construction-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Concrete Carpenter is required.

No formal education is required; relevant trade experience is required.

Must be dependable, punctual, and ready to work.

Must be able to work approximately 40 hours per week and overtime as required.

Must be able to work extended hours and perform physically demanding work.

Must have personal tools necessary for the trade.

Must have personal steel-toe boots.

Must be able to read measurements and use hand and power tools.

Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Clean background is required due to the project being a federal project.

Bilingual ability is not required, but is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry construction materials.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and work for extended periods.

Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.

Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Ability to safely perform duties in an active construction environment.

Ability to work long hours and overtime as required.
