Job Summary 10-99 Position- Family owned construction company is seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter / Tradesman to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry and construction tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship across higher end residential projects . Your expertise will contribute to building, renovating, and remodeling homes with precision and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your craft in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently. Perform framing, trim carpentry, siding installation, door hanging, cabinet installation, and general remodel work. Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for construction site work. Install baseboards, doors, build shelves, crown molding, stick frame as needed, build custom cabinets, install hardware components as needed. Fabricate custom woodwork or wood stud framing components to specifications. Ensure adherence to power tool safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized worksite. Assist with remodeling projects, painting , flooring prep, demolition and general labor Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of all tasks. Support the installation of siding, window installation processes, caulking, and other finishing touches. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry, cabinetry and high end remodeling. 10 +years experience Proficient in English and some knowledge of Spanish preferred but not required Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and wood stud framing equipment. Experience with residential carpentry, trim carpentry, fixture installation, flooring installation, and remodeling projects preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and willing to work in non climate controlled enviroments. Must have clean background and own reliable transportation to and from jobsites. Jobsites very from Houston / Memorial to Montgomery/The Woodlands areas. Must have a Drivers License, tax id or etin # and clean record Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site based on project needs.

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
