The ideal candidates will have experience working with SYMON, DOKA, PERI, EFCO, and/or MEVA forms. Role Overview Concrete Carpenters play a crucial role in the construction process by constructing and assembling formwork systems to shape concrete into both structural and architectural elements. This position requires a high level of carpentry expertise, precise attention to detail in layout accuracy, and proficiency in working with scaffolding, forming systems, and reinforcing steel. Concrete Carpenters are instrumental in ensuring jobsite safety, accuracy, and efficiency by preparing the necessary structures to facilitate successful concrete placement.
Key Responsibilities Formwork Construction:
Build, set up, and dismantle formwork for various concrete structures.Accuracy Verification:
Ensure alignment, dimensions, and elevations of formwork and scaffolding are correct.Placement Support:
Aid in concrete placement and finishing tasks as required.Safety Practices:
Implement safe work methods when handling tools, equipment, and materials. Tasks & Duties Formwork Construction Construct forms for slabs, walls, decks, elevator cores, and tilt-up panels. Install reinforcing steel as needed. Modify formwork systems using appropriate carpentry tools. Erect and dismantle scaffolding for elevated work. Accuracy Verification Check level, plumb, and alignment of forms using hand tools. Adjust formwork to meet specified dimensions. Review construction drawings for layout accuracy. Placement Support Assist with concrete placement and finishing tasks. Prepare equipment and materials for pours. Participate in cleanup after placement activities. Organize forming materials and equipment. Safety Practices Adhere to safe work practices and maintain safe work areas. Report unsafe conditions to the Crew Task Lead.Pay:
