Home Remodeling Specialist Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and professional remodeler to join our growing team. This is a full-time, year-round position. You will handle residential and commercial renovation projects from demolition to final trim work and paint. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who takes immense pride in their craftsmanship and can maintain a professional demeanor in clients' home and office.
Key Responsibilities Carpentry:
Perform high-quality framing, finish carpentry, window/door installations, and base and crown installation. Drywall (hang, tape, float, texture and Paint):
Requirements:
Ten years' experience in residential and commercial remodeling or related construction work. Demonstrated skills in Rough and Trim carpentry, sheetrock, tape, float, and texture, painting a must. Flooring skills helpful. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction documents. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members. Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable truck or van.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications or licenses in construction or remodeling trades. Experience with historic restoration remodeling practices. Familiarity with the latest trends and materials in the remodeling industry.
