A Scaffold Carpenter's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Construction and dismantling of scaffolding
• Determining amount of materials, identifying appropriate construction locations and transporting scaffolding materials under direct supervision of the lead man
• Explaining instructions and documentation to plan work activities
• Help coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site
• Complete and reviews records
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Perform various clean-up activities
• Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Physically, workers must be able to:
• Work in direct sunlight
• Stand or walk for long periods
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects
• Lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds
• Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects and carry tools and equipment
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

Must be able to pass a background, Drug screens (urine and hair follicle) and physical Regulatory Training required for access into the job site.
