This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned builder who takes extreme ownership of their job sites. In this role, you won't just be building—you will be the backbone of daily site operations. You will oversee custom deck, pergola, and fencing projects from start to finish, ensuring our standards of craftsmanship are met while keeping jobs running smoothly, safely, and on schedule. If you are a builder who takes initiative, solves problems before they happen, goes the extra mile, and communicates effortlessly with both the crew and the office, this position is for you.
Pay & Hours Pay:
$28.00 per hour
Guaranteed Hours:
38 hours per week guaranteed (

MANDATORY

Key Responsibilities Site & Project Leadership:
Oversee daily on-site operations for custom decks, pergolas, and fencing projects. Lead by example and work alongside the crew.
Logistics & Material Management:
Verify that all materials, hardware, and equipment are on-site and ready prior to project start, or coordinate/execute material pickups as needed to avoid job delays.
Administrative Coordination:
Maintain consistent, professional daily communication with administrative staff regarding project progress, site updates, scheduling changes, or material shortages.
Quality & Safety Control:
Maintain rigorous craftsmanship standards, enforce job site safety, and ensure the work area is clean, secure, and organized at the end of each day.
Client & Crew Relations:
Serve as the professional face of the company on-site, answering client questions smoothly and keeping the crew motivated and efficient.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of combined hands-on carpentry/building experience and job site management/supervision.
References:
3 strong, verifiable professional references required at submission.
Communication & Tech:
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear updates via phone/text/email to admin staff and management.
Tools & Equipment:
Must have your own set of professional hand/power tools and a reliable work vehicle (truck or trailer capable of hauling tools/materials is a major plus).
Skills & Ownership:
Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving skills—someone who anticipates roadblocks before they slow down the job.
Physical Ability:
Ability to perform heavy physical labor, lift 80+ lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Schedule Monday to Friday (Day shift) Occasional Saturdays depending on weather and project timelines (within the 38-hour schedule).
