Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise carpentry work. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture installation. Operate woodworking machines safely to cut, shape, and assemble wood construction materials. Perform residential carpentry tasks including trim work, door/window installation, metal stud framing, and drywall finishing. Assist with restoration industry projects such as mold remediation, stucco application, rebar installation, caulking, plastering, and siding repairs. Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for framing, rebar placement, or material handling on construction sites. Follow safety protocols related to power tool use, site safety procedures, and proper handling of wood construction materials. Support remodeling projects by installing flooring, tiles, fixtures, or performing general handyman tasks as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards. Requirements Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry or woodworking. Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills, saws for woodworking; and woodworking machines. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus. Experience working on residential or commercial sites with an understanding of safety regulations like power tool safety. Familiarity with wood construction materials such as framing lumber, siding materials, drywall components; metal stud framing experience is desirable. Skills in plastering, stucco application, rebar installation, caulking techniques; mold remediation or restoration experience is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions on active job sites. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex instructions and technical plans accurately. Valid driver's license preferred; certification in construction safety or relevant trade licenses are a plus.
