Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring precision, safety, and quality at every stage. Your expertise will help bring construction plans to life, from framing to finishing touches, contributing to the creation of durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing structures. Duties Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Construct, install, repair, and remodel structures using various materials including wood, metal, drywall, stucco, siding, and concrete forms. frame structures with precision using hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, and welding equipment. Perform concrete forming, finishing, and rebar installation to support foundation work and structural elements. Manage dimensional measurements with tape measures and other tools to ensure accurate cuts and placements. Execute trim carpentry, drywall installation, plastering, masonry work, and siding applications with attention to detail. Collaborate with construction management teams to adhere to safety protocols and project timelines while interpreting construction plans effectively. Assist in remodeling projects by removing old materials and installing new finishes that meet client specifications. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently throughout each project phase. Qualifications Proven experience in carpentry or construction work with a solid understanding of building techniques across residential or commercial sites. Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans; ability to interpret technical specifications accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, chisels), power tools (saws, drills), welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation when necessary. Knowledge of metal stud framing, drywall installation, stucco application, siding techniques, masonry work, and concrete finishing. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics; physical stamina for long shifts on-site. Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise craftsmanship. Familiarity with safety standards related to construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when required; strong problem-solving capabilities. Join us if you're passionate about building high-quality structures!
