Experienced Carpenter / Window & Door Installation Technician We are looking for a skilled and dependable carpenter to join our window and door installation team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and understands the importance of quality craftsmanship. We are seeking someone with residential construction or carpentry experience who can work independently, solve problems in the field, and complete projects with a high level of quality. Window and door installation experience is a plus, but we are willing to consider experienced carpenters with the right skills, attitude, and work ethic.

Responsibilities:

Install residential windows and doors with accuracy and attention to detail Measure openings, verify dimensions, and ensure proper fit and installation Perform carpentry work including shimming, leveling, adjustments, framing, and interior/exterior trim work Identify and troubleshoot jobsite challenges and determine the best solutions Solve unexpected problems that arise during installations while maintaining quality standards Read measurements, follow job instructions, and complete work according to specifications Safely operate hand tools and power tools Safely work on ladders and around residential job sites Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment Communicate effectively with team members and homeowners Help train and guide less experienced installers as the company grows

Qualifications:

Experience in carpentry, remodeling, construction, or window/door installation Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think independently Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform precise work Comfortable safely working on ladders and at heights Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools Experience with finish carpentry, trim work, or exterior work is a plus Ability to work efficiently and maintain a productive pace while still delivering high-quality workmanship and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in quality workmanship Able to work independently while also being a strong team member Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right the first time

Pay:

$250.00 - $350.00 per day
