Handyman/Painter/Carpenter

Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Handyman/Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects by assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to the successful completion of various projects. Responsibilities Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Provide tools, materials, and assistance as needed during construction tasks. Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to complete assigned tasks effectively. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision while adhering to safety protocols. Help with the transportation of materials and equipment to and from job sites. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including proper disposal of waste materials. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to construction practices. Skills Basic knowledge of construction practices and terminology is preferred but not required. Ability to follow directions accurately and work collaboratively as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety procedures. Good physical stamina, capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work environments.
