Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Carpenter/Remodeler to oversee residential Bathroom and Kitchen remodeling projects from start to finish. This energetic leader will coordinate and execute carpentry tasks, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, adherence to safety standards, and timely project completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive construction experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for transforming spaces into beautiful, functional environments. Join our team and lead exciting remodeling projects that make a real difference in clients' homes! All indoor work. No down time due to weather. Vehicle, tools and uniform provided. Duties Lead and supervise carpentry crews on residential remodeling and restoration projects, ensuring work meets quality standards and project specifications. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute remodeling tasks. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and other construction tools safely and efficiently. Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, trim, moldings, flooring, plumbing fixtures and other wood or metal components with precision. Perform framing work Ensure compliance with safety protocols including power tool safety practices and proper handling of construction site hazards. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear communication with clients, team members, and suppliers. Assist with site cleanup, and general handyman tasks as needed. Experience Proven construction skills with experience in residential carpentry projects. Extensive background in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for accurate project execution. Hands-on experience with framing , trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, plastering, caulking, flooring, and plumbing fixture installation. Familiarity with woodworking techniques using hand tools, power tools for woodworking. Prior work on construction sites involving restoration projects or remodeling is highly desirable. Knowledge of the use of woodworking materials such as moldings, panels; understanding of construction site safety regulations is essential. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical specifications accurately while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
