The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on commercial construction projects, ensuring that all work meets safety standards, quality specifications, and project deadlines. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects that involve metal building erection, concrete forming, framing, and finishing. The successful applicant will bring expertise in various carpentry disciplines and a strong commitment to craftsmanship and safety. Responsibilities Mainly refurbishing old door at an historical site. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks. Perform metal building erection, including framing and siding installation, with precision and adherence to specifications. Construct formwork for concrete pouring, including rebar installation and concrete finishing. Execute masonry work such as stucco, plastering, and bricklaying to meet project requirements. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to facilitate efficient construction activities. Install framing using wood or metal studs for interior walls, ceilings, and partitions. Conduct roofing, siding, trim carpentry, and restoration work as needed on various projects. Handle heavy lifting safely while managing materials on-site. Use hand tools skillfully for precise carpentry tasks including woodworking and custom trim installation. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure correct material placement and structural integrity. Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial construction with a focus on carpentry; prior experience in metal building erection is highly desirable. Proficiency in concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry, roofing, siding, and stucco work. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and other construction machinery. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of construction management principles is a plus. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting regularly. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Valid safety certifications such as OSHA training are preferred but not mandatory. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
