In this role, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and installing custom sheds tailored to client specifications. Your expertise will help bring outdoor storage solutions to life, ensuring quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a wide range of carpentry and construction skills, and contribute to creating durable, functional structures that meet high standards. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately build custom sheds according to client specifications. Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing using hand tools and power tools for precise construction. Perform trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, siding, roofing, and siding work to ensure finished quality. Execute concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, drywall, siding, roofing, and other tasks as needed. Install doors, windows, cabinetry, and other fixtures while ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening. Conduct site preparation including heavy lifting of materials and equipment; ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Read schematics and technical drawings for electrical wiring, plumbing connections, or other specialized systems involved in shed construction. Perform finishing work such as caulking, plastering, painting, stucco application, or restoration tasks to achieve a polished look. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; adhere strictly to safety standards throughout all phases of construction. Skills Extensive experience with construction estimating to accurately assess project scope and materials needed. Proficiency in various carpentry disciplines including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, siding, and woodworking. Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and fabrication tasks. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics for electrical systems, plumbing layouts, or structural details. Ability to perform roofing installation and siding application with precision. Capable of heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina during demanding projects. Familiarity with fixture installation including doors, cabinets, lighting fixtures or hardware components. Basic plumbing skills for connecting water lines or drainage systems within shed structures. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients; strong problem-solving abilities are essential.
