Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter/Laborer and be a vital part of transforming visions into reality! This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse residential projects, utilizing your carpentry skills and hands-on expertise. Whether you're framing, installing fixtures, or assisting with restoration efforts, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and a finished product to be proud of. Paid positions are available for all applicants eager to grow their skills and position with the company. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other construction materials using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications. Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding work, including many other tasks within construction. Assist with concrete, excavation, window installs, flooring, etc. Operate machines and equipment safely to produce a long lasting product. Handle heavy lifting and physical tasks such as scaffolding setup, material transport, and appliance installs. Support team members with daily tasks and bring professionalism to the worksite every day. Requirements Proven construction experience with knowledge of residential carpentry and general building practices. Ability to interpret/learn technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately. Skilled in using hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools for construction(drills, air tools, etc), and heavier equipment(compactors, skidsteers, etc.) Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading technical drawings is a plus. Knowledge of power tool safety protocols and proper handling of construction materials. Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards. $21.50 - $32.00 per hour
