Lead Carpenter / Framing Carpenter - Full-Time Lead Carpenter / Framing Carpenter - Full-Time Puget Construction & Landscape is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who can confidently take a project from framing through finish work. We are looking for someone who is skilled in residential construction, framing, remodeling, additions, and finish carpentry and who can lead work in the field while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship.
Responsibilities include:
Residential framing, including walls, floors, roofs, additions, and remodels Reading and working from construction plans and drawings Interior and exterior finish carpentry Installing doors, windows, trim, baseboard, and other finish materials Coordinating daily work with project management Leading and directing other crew members when needed Identifying problems in the field and communicating solutions Maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites Completing work according to plans, scope, schedule, and quality standards
Ideal Candidate:
5+ years of carpentry/construction experience required Strong framing experience required Finish carpentry experience required Comfortable working independently and leading others Able to read plans, take measurements, create material lists, and think ahead Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Own basic hand tools Strong communication and problem-solving skills Dependable, professional, and accountable We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a growing construction company with opportunities for additional responsibility and advancement.
