In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans. Erect metal buildings and framing structures using metal stud framing techniques. Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and masonry work to ensure durable foundations and structures. Operate power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Manage construction site activities including heavy lifting, material handling, and coordination with other trades like welding or plastering. Follow safety protocols diligently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents or injuries. Requirements Proven experience in construction work with a focus on carpentry; experience in metal building erection is highly desirable. Ability to read construction plans accurately and interpret technical drawings or schematics. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and basic math for dimensional measurements. Knowledge of drywall installation, trim carpentry, framing techniques, siding application, and restoration projects. Skilled in concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry work, plastering, and stucco application. Experience operating heavy equipment related to construction sites is a plus. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces as needed. Valid construction site experience with safety awareness; certifications in welding or metal stud framing are advantageous. Ability to interpret technical schematics accurately for precise execution of tasks.
