In this role, you will be responsible for transforming residential spaces through precise carpentry work, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Your expertise will help bring renovation projects to life, creating beautiful, functional environments for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse remodeling projects, utilizing your extensive carpentry skills and construction knowledge to deliver exceptional results. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute remodeling projects accurately. Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and metal components including framing, siding, doors, trim, drywall, and flooring. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for woodworking, framing, stucco application, rebar installation, and fixture mounting. Perform demolition work as needed to prepare spaces for remodeling or restoration efforts. Install siding, stucco finishes, mold remediation components, and perform heavy lifting tasks to support structural modifications. Ensure all work complies with safety standards such as power tool safety protocols and building codes. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to interpret construction plans and meet project deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in residential carpentry, remodeling, or restoration industries with a strong background in construction projects. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for accurate execution of tasks. Skilled in using hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools designed for woodworking and framing. Knowledge of wood construction materials including siding, drywall, flooring materials, metal studs, and other building components. Ability to perform drywall installation, caulking, plastering, door hanging, fixture installation, and flooring setup with precision. Experience with woodworking machines and woodshop equipment is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and working on construction sites safely is preferred. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces when necessary. Additional skills such as handyman experience or mold remediation are a plus but not required.
