Position Overview Jackson Design Build is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our Production team. The Lead Carpenter is responsible for the client's satisfaction with the project as well as the profitability of the job. This is primarily a "tool-bags-on" management position requiring carpentry expertise, project management skills and the ability to balance both production and management needs as they fluctuate during the project. An advanced craftsman who performs carpentry at the highest level while managing all elements of assigned projects (site supervision of team members / trade contractors / hold the project schedule / site materials ) ensuring an efficient lean project with a happy customer.
Key responsibilities:
Manage high-quality residential remodeling projects from start to finish. Schedule and supervise all trade contractors and building inspections. Complete all job paperwork including job logs, safety notes, change orders, etc. Perform accurate take-offs, order materials, and coordinate deliveries with vendors. Hit production schedule timelines. Maintain high client satisfaction using professional, accurate & timely communication. Perform carpentry tasks ranging from demolition, framing, to fine finish carpentry. Uphold our high standard of communication with clients, trades, vendors, and co-workers. Do you meet the following qualifications? 6+ years experience in the residential construction industry. 2 years experience as a lead carpenter or other management experience. Time management and punctuality a must. Attention to detail . Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. General computer proficiency including Microsoft Office & Outlook. Experience with Buildertrend is a plus.

Competitive wage compensatio n (depending on experience).
