JAS Design Build seeks a Skilled Service Carpenter with exceptional attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to work alone and as part of a team. Desired Skills:

Experience in the following: Frame to finish carpentry Cabinet installs and trim details Familiarity with architectural drawings/plans Application techniques for various materials: primer, texture, paint and stain Prep work: Filling, caulking, and sanding of walls and trim (both interior and exterior), masking, safety and protection Familiarity with lead paint protocols and Hazardous materials (OSHA 10) (training provided by JAS) Van organization and maintenance Thorough understanding of health and safety protocols Other requirements: Excellent understanding of jobsite maintenance/management and clean-up, including proper waste disposal and tool and van maintenance.

Motivation and team skills:

great communication via phone, text, email, and in-person (with coworkers, managers, and clients). Basic computer/cell phone skills, including some knowledge of zoom, Outlook and Excel Punctual and Reliable Clean driving record and WA state driver's license. Comfortable working at heights

Additional Details:

This is a full time (40 hrs.) position, and our hours are Monday

• Friday 7.30 am
• 4 pm We work mainly in Seattle but there may be times when you will be asked to travel to and work on the San Juan islands, Bainbridge and Whidbey. $35
• $55.
