In person — Rockford, Beloit, and surrounding areas Job Summary We are a growing residential real estate renovation company seeking an experienced, dependable carpenter for steady, full-time work. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with residential framing, remodeling, and finish carpentry. We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing quality work, pays close attention to detail, arrives on time, and can complete assigned projects without constant supervision. Responsibilities Complete interior and exterior framing work Perform residential remodeling and renovation work Install doors, windows, trim, baseboards, molding, and other finish materials Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials accurately Complete general carpentry repairs and punch-list items Identify problems and communicate needed repairs or materials Follow project instructions and established quality standards Keep jobsites clean, organized, and safe Work independently and alongside other members of the construction team Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship Required Qualifications Previous professional experience in residential carpentry Experience with framing and finish carpentry Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to different jobsites Own basic carpentry tools Ability to read measurements and cut and install materials accurately Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Dependable, punctual, and professional Ability to work independently without constant supervision Ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with residential carpentry, with or without reasonable accommodation Preferred Qualifications Experience renovating or remodeling residential properties Experience installing doors, windows, trim, baseboards, and molding Experience working on home renovation or property-rehabilitation projects Professional references and photographs of previous work Compensation Pay ranges from $20 to $30 per hour and will be determined by the applicant's experience, skill level, dependability, and quality of work.
