Job Description
We're looking for reliable and skilled Carpenters for Rough Carpentry, Finish Carpentry or Steel Stud Framing. These are full time, yearlong weekly paid positions in the Milwaukee and surrounding counties. We are not requiring Carpenters to do both Rough and Finish. We have positions available in both fields.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp the requirements Rough Carpenter- Build structures (Stick or Prefabbed) Finish Carpenter- base, case, crown molding, cabinets, fixture installation Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed Must be able to work with a team or independently Follow directions and have a good attitudeSkills:
- Proven experience as carpenter
- Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
- Good understanding of basic math
