Job Description

Currently hiring experienced Carpenters for ongoing projects in De Pere, WI . As a Carpenter, your primary responsibilities will include erecting structural steel and pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) , performing bolt-up, and installing metal siding and roofing systems. This is long-term, steady work paying $25-$35/hour based on skill set and experience . If you have 2+ years of carpentry, steel erection, ironwork, PEMB, or structural steel experience , apply now!
Carpenter Responsibilities:
Erect and assemble structural steel and pre-engineered metal building systems Set and connect columns, beams, rafters, girts, and purlins Perform bolt-up and structural steel connections Install metal wall panels, roofing systems, siding, insulation, and trim Assist with rigging, signaling, and setting steel Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction plans Measure, layout, plumb, level, and align structural components Operate aerial lifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and other equipment as qualified Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Follow fall-protection and jobsite safety requirements
Carpenter Qualifications:
2+ years of carpentry, steel erection, ironwork, PEMB, or structural steel experience Experience with bolt-up and structural steel connections Comfortable working at heights and outdoors Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings Knowledge of rigging and crane signaling preferred Own basic hand tools and PPE Reliable transportation Authorized to work in the United States Ability to perform physically demanding construction work Strong commitment to jobsite safety
