We're building something here and we're looking for the right person to build it with us. This isn't a job posting for someone looking to punch a clock. Where we're headed We're currently executing bathroom and basement remodels, residential additions, and shed and garage builds across the Fox Valley with a pipeline running through winter and into next year. This role starts part-time and moves to full-time as project volume grows — we're committed to that transition and we'll put it in writing. What you'll actually be doing Working alongside the owner on active projects and independently when the work supports it. Framing, rough carpentry, finish work, doors and windows, exterior work. Varied projects, never the same job twice. Your input on how we run jobs matters here — this isn't a large company where your ideas disappear into a suggestion box. What success looks like here Projects that finish on time and on budget. A job site that looks professional every day. Clients who are glad they hired us. You'll share in the wins when we execute efficiently — we have a project bonus structure that rewards quality and urgency, not just hours. Who you are You have journeyman level carpentry skills across multiple areas — framing, rough work, trim, doors and windows. You can run a job site independently and make sound decisions without someone looking over your shoulder. You communicate professionally with clients. You own your basic hand tools. You have a valid driver's license. More than the technical skills — you want to be part of something growing, not just filling a position. You treat every project like it has your name on it because in a business this size, it does. What we offer Starting at $23-32/hr based on experience, paid weekly.
