Job Description

Five Star Framing - Rough Carpenter Five Star Framing is looking for a dependable, hardworking Rough Carpenter to join our growing team. We specialize in quality residential and light commercial framing and take pride in building every project with precision, efficiency and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
Frame walls, floors, roofs, doorways and window openings Read and follow blueprints, plans and specifications Measure, cut and assemble lumber and building materials Install floor systems, roof systems, sheathing and structural components Safely operate hand tools, power tools and construction equipment Follow jobsite safety procedures and building codes Maintain a clean and organized work area Work effectively with crew members, supervisors and other trades Help ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality standards
Qualifications:
Previous rough carpentry or construction experience preferred Working knowledge of framing methods and construction tools Ability to accurately measure, cut and assemble materials Physically able to lift heavy materials, climb ladders and work outdoors Comfortable working at heights and in changing weather conditions Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license Strong work ethic, attention to detail and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel to jobsites, with most projects located within one hour of the
