Job Description

About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our restoration team. This position is responsible for skilled carpentry work related to the repair, restoration, and reconstruction of residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, vehicle impact, and other property damage. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on carpentry skills, takes pride in quality workmanship, works well under deadlines, and is comfortable responding to emergency restoration situations. Key Responsibilities Perform demolition, framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, millwork, and exterior finish work. Complete repairs and reconstruction according to project plans, engineering specifications, and company standards. Assess damaged areas and determine appropriate repair methods, materials, and tools. Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship and minimize errors and rework. Organize tools, materials, and workflow to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Participate in water and fire mitigation, demolition, cleanup, and emergency restoration activities. Respond promptly to scheduled emergency/on-call assignments. Maintain regular communication with supervisors and production teams regarding project progress and challenges. Document completed work using company software, including photos, notes, and material usage. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite. Provide professional and respectful customer service while working in clients' homes and businesses. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean and safe condition. Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE. Inspect tools and equipment regularly and report safety hazards, property damage, or workplace injuries promptly. Participate in company training and continuously develop carpentry and restoration skills. What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of professional carpentry experience. Valid Driver's License. Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and construction techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced restoration environment. Willingness to participate in emergency/on-call rotations. Basic computer and smartphone skills. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of carpentry experience. Restoration or disaster-recovery experience. Blueprint reading experience. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. First Aid/CPR certification. Lift certification. Heavy equipment training. Additional construction or trade certifications. Tools & Equipment Carpenters are expected to provide: Smartphone with an active data plan. Standard hand tools. Required power tools. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, push, and pull for extended periods. Climb and work on ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and other elevated areas. Work in tight, confined, high, indoor, and outdoor spaces. Lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing approximately 50-100 lbs. Work in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold. Maintain balance and safely navigate active construction/restoration environments. Operate a motor vehicle and travel to customer locations and job sites. See and hear adequately, with or without reasonable correction, to safely perform job duties. Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through company technology. Pay:
