[Leapros] Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Traveling Commercial Carpenter in Kaukauna, WI. The Traveling Commercial Carpenter performs skilled carpentry work on commercial construction projects for a well-established construction firm based in Kaukauna, WI. This is a contract, Monday through Friday role requiring hands-on experience in both rough framing and finish carpentry, the ability to work independently on site, and the flexibility to travel as project assignments demand. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, reads and interprets blueprints with confidence, and consistently upholds site safety standards.

Per Hour BOE Responsibilities:
Perform rough and finish carpentry work on commercial construction projects. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate installation. Measure, cut, and fit wood, engineered lumber, and other materials to project requirements. Install framing, doors, hardware, trim, and other structural or finish carpentry components. Work independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with site safety standards. Coordinate with project supervisors and other trades to support the overall project schedule. Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety protocols throughout the duration of the project.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in commercial carpentry, including rough framing and finish work. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment standard to commercial construction. Ability to work independently without direct supervision. Must possess valid ID and be able to pass a background check. Reliable transportation required for traveling to project sites. Willingness and ability to travel for project assignments as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods. Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be capable of climbing stairs, ladders, and working at heights. Ability to work in confined spaces and various weather conditions on active construction sites. Ability to perform repetitive motions such as cutting, nailing, and fastening materials. May be exposed to dust, noise, and other construction-site environmental conditions. Must be aware of and adhere to OSHA safety standards.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $25 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
