The Framing Carpenter will be responsible for framing new residential homes and ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and according to construction plans and company quality standard. In this fast-paced role, you'll bring precision, skill, and craftsmanship to framing projects, ensuring the foundation for high-quality buildings. Duties Frame new residential homes, including walls, floors, ceilings, and roof systems. Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and measurements. Measure, cut, and install lumber and other framing materials. Install wall, floor, and roof sheathing. Install headers, beams, windows, doors, and other structural components. Ensure framing is square, level, plumb, and properly aligned. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, nail guns, and other construction equipment. Follow building codes, construction plans, and company specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Properly care for company tools, equipment, and materials. Communicate construction issues or material needs to the Superintendent. Work effectively with other carpenters, subcontractors, and construction team members. Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements. Perform other construction and carpentry duties as assigned. Experience 2-5 years' previous residential framing or carpentry experience preferred. Knowledge of residential construction and framing techniques. Ability to read blueprints and accurately take measurements. Experience using common hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods. Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
