Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter/Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality finish carpentry and installation work across residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, cabinetry, doors, drywall, stucco, tile, and other wood or composite materials with precision. Use hand tools and power tools designed for woodworking and carpentry tasks safely and effectively. Perform framing, rebar installation, plastering, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and other related tasks as needed. Ensure proper caulking, fixture installation, door hanging, and finishing touches to meet quality standards. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols for power tool safety and overall site safety. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to interpret construction plans and ensure seamless project flow. Maintain a clean and organized worksite by managing materials such as wood construction materials and woodworking machines efficiently. Assist with remodeling projects or restoration industry tasks including drywall installation, stucco application, tile laying, and water damage repairs. Follow all safety guidelines related to power tools, heavy lifting, rebar installation, mold remediation, and general construction site procedures. Experience Proven experience in residential carpentry or general construction work with a strong focus on finish carpentry. Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Hands-on experience with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills, sanders, saws for woodworking; woodworking machines; and heavy equipment if applicable. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required. Prior involvement in remodeling projects or restoration industry work is highly desirable. Experience with drywall installation, caulking techniques, tile laying, door hanging, fixture installation or similar tasks preferred. Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans effectively on-site. Strong understanding of power tool safety procedures combined with practical experience in water damage restoration or mold remediation is advantageous.
