In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, trim work, and restoration projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of commercial and residential construction projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Construct, install, repair, and finish structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and cabinetry using various hand and power tools. Perform metal building erection and metal stud framing with precision and safety. Execute concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing to support foundational work. Engage in masonry tasks including plastering and restoration work to preserve or enhance existing structures. Read measurements accurately using tape measures and perform dimensional measurements for precise cuts and assembly. Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high-quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in construction site environments with a strong background in carpentry and related trades such as framing, trim carpentry, masonry, or remodeling. Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans; ability to interpret complex specifications. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other essential carpentry equipment. Knowledge of metal building erection, rebar installation, concrete forming, welding, plastering, woodworking, and restoration techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physically capable of standing for extended periods and working at heights or in confined spaces. Basic math skills necessary for accurate measurements and calculations on-site. Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and site management practices. Valid experience with interpreting technical drawings related to metal stud framing and other specialized construction tasks is preferred.
