Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as an Exterior Finish Carpenter and bring precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail to every project. In this vital role, you will be responsible for completing exterior finishing work on residential decking, siding and roofing projects. Your expertise will help transform raw structures into polished, functional spaces that meet high standards of quality and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship makes a difference. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, siding, windows, and decking with accuracy and finesse Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of finishing details Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks such as caulking, sanding and painting Perform framing work to prepare surfaces for finishing Install siding, roofing components, decking, railing and other exterior finishes Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation, mold remediation, and structural repairs as needed Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards Requirements Proven experience in finish carpentry with a strong background in trim carpentry, deck building, siding installation, and roofing installation Skilled in construction estimating and reading blueprints or schematics for accurate project execution Proficient with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers; power tools including drills, sanders, nail guns Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and ability to perform heavy lifting safely Familiarity with various construction disciplines such as masonry, plumbing, electrical work, roofing, framing and decking installation Experience working on restoration projects or within the restoration industry is highly desirable Ability to perform detailed craftsmanship in remodeling projects involving decking, railing, caulking or siding work Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and adapt plans as needed for unique project requirements Join us if you're passionate about delivering high-quality craftsmanship that transforms spaces!
