Job Description
Job Overview Windrow Builders is a growing, family-owned construction company serving Sheboygan County and surrounding areas. We build garages, pole sheds, decks, fences, additions, and handle residential remodeling, roofing, siding, concrete, framing, windows, and doors. We are looking for a dependable Carpenter / Construction Laborer to work directly alongside our owner on a variety of residential construction projects. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in quality work, can follow direction, shows up every day, and wants to grow with a small company. Experience is preferred, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn matter just as much. Duties & Responsibilities Assist with construction projects including garages, pole sheds, decks, fences, additions, remodeling, framing, roofing, siding, and concrete work Load, unload, organize, and safely use tools and materials Help prepare job sites, keep work areas clean, and complete daily cleanup Take direction from the lead carpenter and work independently when assigned tasks Measure, cut, lift, carry, and install building materials Help ensure projects are completed correctly, safely, and on schedule Communicate respectfully with customers, coworkers, and suppliers Represent Windrow Builders professionally at every job site Be available for a consistent weekday schedule, with occasional longer days depending on the job What We're Looking For Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Dependable attendance—being on time every day is a must Construction, carpentry, framing, roofing, siding, or concrete experience is preferred Able to lift 50+ pounds and work outside in changing weather Comfortable using hand and power tools Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn Someone looking for steady work and a place to grow—not just a short-term job
