Job Description

At Big Bear Remodeling, we specialize mainly in kitchen and bathroom projects, but we also do plumbing and electrical work. Due to increased demand, we are looking to bring aboard a junior carpenter to assist our foremen, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, drywall specialists, and tile setters. We expect quality work, and a range of general carpentry skills are necessary. You must have some experience with demolition, drywall and painting and basic carpentry (basic stud framing and installing cabinets/trim). This is a position with upward mobility for the right person with the right attitude.
REQUIRED
: General carpentry experience (minimum 2 years) Drywall finishing and painting experience (minimum 2 years) Flooring experience and mechanicals are a plus but not necessary Must own basic hand and power tools (drill, circ saw, reciprocating saw, multitool) Good driving record (less than 6 points) Great attitude Desire to be a master craftsperson or technician This position is full-time employee position (W2) and pays $16 to $18 per hour based on experience and skillsets and comes with paid time off, retirement with match, and health, dental and vision reimbursements.
