Primary Purpose:

Conduct routine dives in the turtle pool for cleaning purposes (20 hours per week) to reduce algae growth and support habitat maintenance.

No Essential Job Functions:

Assist with maintaining water quality and appearance of the pool to ensure the health and well-being of resident turtles at the MEEC. Perform scientific dives as needed, to manage and reduce algae growth in the pool. Support pool cleaning efforts using air tanks and basic equipment provided by the facility. Monitor and report on conditions affecting water quality and algae development. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while diving and handling equipment.
