Job Description

Job Overview Captain Hook's Dive Center is seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Divemasters and Boat Mates to join our teams in Key West and Big Pine Key . If you're passionate about diving, boating, and providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you. You'll help create safe, fun, and memorable experiences for our scuba and snorkeling guests while working in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Responsibilities Lead or assist scuba diving and snorkeling trips. Assist with daily boat operations, docking, equipment setup, and guest boarding. Conduct safety briefings and ensure safe diving and snorkeling practices. Help guests with dive equipment and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vessel. Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications Divemaster applicants:
Current Divemaster certification (PADI, NAUI, SSI, SDI/TDI, or equivalent).
Boat Mate applicants:
Boating experience preferred. Current CPR/First Aid certification. Current Rescue Diver certification (or equivalent agency certification). Search & Recovery specialty certification is a plus, but not required. Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Weekend and holiday availability preferred. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. New to the Dive Industry? We also welcome Open Water certified divers who are looking to start a career in the dive industry. Captain Hook's offers education, mentorship, and on-the-job training to help qualified candidates earn their Rescue Diver, Divemaster, and other professional certifications . Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
