The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and environmental protection while performing underwater tasks. This role involves conducting various diving operations, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance of underwater structures and equipment. The Diver will work in diverse aquatic environments, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines. Duties Perform underwater inspections of structures and equipment to assess condition and identify necessary repairs. Execute maintenance tasks such as cleaning, and repairing underwater installations. Utilize diving equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute diving operations efficiently. Document findings and report on the condition of underwater assets following each dive. Maintain diving equipment in good working order, conducting regular checks and servicing as needed. Participate in training sessions to enhance diving skills and knowledge of safety practices. Operate equipment like Underwater Chainsaws, Chopsaws, Jackhammers, pneumatic/hydraulic tools. Penetration diving, Hazmat, open water. Experience Previous experience as a Diver in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Certification from a recognized diving school (e.g., commercial SCUBA or ADCI). Familiarity with underwater tools and equipment is advantageous. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to diving operations. Ability to work in challenging conditions, including varying water temperatures and visibility levels. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.
