A Commercial Diver works under the surface of water, with or without the aid of underwater breathing apparatus, to inspect, install, repair and remove equipment and structures, conduct tests or experiments, rig explosives, photograph structures or marine life, collect various forms of aquatic life for commercial or research purposes, and find and recover missing items and persons.

Barnacle Busters is a well-established commercial underwater hull cleaning company based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. We're looking to add a few certified scuba divers to our team who enjoy physical work, take pride in what they do, and want to be part of a solid crew they actually enjoy showing up for. This is real, hands-on work in real marine conditions — but it's also work that matters, builds skill, and is done with people who look out for each other. What the Work Looks Like You'll be working underwater on vessels ranging from 12' to 350'+ , helping keep boats clean, efficient, and running right.
Typical work includes:
Underwater hull cleaning Prop polishing and basic underwater maintenance Zinc installation Assisting with haul-outs and vessel launches Working from docks, marinas, and dive boats Some days are busy, some are steady — but no two days are the same. What We Offer Weekly Pay Most divers earn $800-$1,500 per week , depending on performance and hours Training & Support We'll train you in our systems, techniques, and safety procedures so you're confident and set up to succeed Overtime Available Time and a half for hours beyond the regular schedule Consistent Schedule Monday-Friday Early starts (typically around 7:00 AM) Most days finish between 3:00-5:00 PM Occasional additional days depending on workload What We're Looking For Certified scuba divers (Open Water certification is perfectly fine) Comfortable working underwater and around boats Physically capable and willing to work hard Reliable, on-time, and respectful of the team Good attitude and willingness to learn Local applicants are required. Relocation is welcome for committed candidates.
