Personnel locate multiple base camps by day and darkness, transport and account for ammunition and supplies, deliver equipment, water, food, and personnel, handle specified hazardous materials, and operate designated Army/GSA and civilian-equivalent vehicles on and off road under all weather conditions.
Job Duties:
Locate multiple base camps and training sites in daylight and darkness within compressed or specified time windows, navigating unassisted using standard and military road maps and other authorized navigation references. Pick up, load, transport, deliver, off-load, issue, receive, and account for equipment, ammunition, supplies, water, and food to multiple exercise locations in accordance with schedules. Transport personnel into and out of training areas during supply movements as required. Handle and transport hazardous materials, including ammunition, pyrotechnic materials, batteries, compressed propane, and compressed oxygen, in accordance with required training and procedures. Operate GSA 15-passenger vans, 1/2- and 3/4-ton two-wheel- and four-wheel-drive trucks, cargo vans, and civilian equivalents on and off road under all weather conditions. Replace empty 5-gallon water cans at training sites, refill empty cans, tag and charge depleted batteries, and return charged batteries to their points of origin. Assist Government personnel before STARTEX and after ENDEX with setup and takedown of field training facilities, base stations, safe houses, and other training sites, including light-equipment pickup, delivery, loading, and off-loading. Provide exercise re-supply support primarily during daylight hours while remaining available for required on-call support 24 hours per day.
Basic Qualifications:
Be able to locate multiple base camps in daylight and darkness within a compressed period; transport, issue, and receive ammunition and supplies; and navigate to training sites unassisted. Be trained in transportation and handling of hazardous materials, including ammunition, pyrotechnic materials, batteries, compressed propane, and compressed oxygen. Possess a valid driver's license and liability insurance. Be able to drive GSA 15-passenger vans, 1/2- and 3/4-ton two-wheel- and four-wheel-drive trucks, cargo vans, and civilian equivalents on and off road under all weather conditions. Be able to perform in austere field conditions, day and night, and navigate on roads and cross-country using military or civilian maps, road signs, landmarks, and/or Cadre/chain-of-command directions. Provide proof of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States if not a U.S. citizen. Security clearance is not required for personnel performing exercise re-supply support.

Robin Sage / Pineland exercise areas and associated training sites in central North Carolina. Exact routes, base camps, and schedules are exercise-dependent.
Working Environment:
Field transportation and logistics work occurs across exercise areas in daylight and darkness, in all weather, on and off road, with time-sensitive delivery windows. Duties include ammunition/supply handling, hazardous-material handling, lifting/loading/off-loading, vehicle operation, and 24-hour on-call re-supply coverage at the contractor/team level.
