As a Commercial Diver, you will perform vital underwater tasks to support construction, maintenance, inspection, and repair projects across various marine environments. Your role is essential in ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in underwater operations. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to develop specialized skills while working in challenging and rewarding settings. Duties Conduct underwater inspections of structures such as bridges, piers, pipelines, and ships to assess condition and identify maintenance needs Perform underwater welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks with precision and safety compliance Assist in the installation, repair, and removal of underwater equipment and infrastructure Operate specialized diving equipment including scuba gear, surface supplied air systems, and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) when applicable Follow strict safety protocols and maintain detailed logs of all underwater activities and inspections Coordinate with surface teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication during dives Conduct pre-dive safety checks, risk assessments, and post-dive reports to uphold safety standards at all times Skills Strong understanding of diving physics, safety procedures, and emergency response protocols Experience with underwater welding, cutting, or inspection techniques highly preferred Ability to operate diving equipment confidently and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently Excellent communication skills for clear coordination with surface teams and clients Physical fitness to meet the demanding requirements of underwater work for extended periods Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards relevant to commercial diving operations Embark on a career that challenges you every day while making a tangible impact beneath the water's surface! $22.00 - $52.00 per hour
