Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Dive Supervisor to lead commercial diving and marine construction operations throughout the Southeast Region. This is a hands-on field leadership role for an experienced commercial diving professional who can safely lead dive crews, coordinate complex underwater work, and work closely with project teams to successfully execute challenging marine construction projects. Dive Supervisor Responsibilities Lead and supervise commercial diving operations in accordance with Brennan policies, ADCI requirements, applicable regulations, and industry best practices. Plan and coordinate daily dive operations, including dive plans, crew assignments, equipment needs, job hazard analyses, and pre-dive safety meetings. Direct dive crews in the safe and efficient execution of underwater construction, inspection, repair, demolition, installation, and other marine construction activities. Maintain responsibility for the safety of dive team members and ensure established diving procedures and emergency protocols are followed. Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, field leadership, and clients to understand project requirements and develop effective execution plans. Monitor field productivity, schedules, manpower, equipment, and project needs and communicate changes or concerns to project leadership. Ensure dive equipment is properly maintained, inspected, documented, and ready for safe operation. Complete and maintain required dive logs, safety documentation, daily reports, and other project records. Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development to divers, tenders, and other members of the dive team. Support workforce planning, onboarding, training, and development of dive personnel. Build strong relationships with project teams and clients while representing Brennan professionally in the field. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Travel to active commercial diving and marine construction projects throughout the Southeast Region. Other duties as assigned. Dive Supervisor Qualifications Completion of a commercial diver training program through an Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI)-accredited commercial diving technical institute or an applicable military diving program. Dive school diploma required. Commercial diving experience with demonstrated experience leading dive crews and field operations. Current ADCI-compliant dive physical required (MD/DO signature required). Current ADCI Dive Supervisor certification card required. Strong knowledge of commercial diving procedures, equipment, safety requirements, and emergency protocols. Experience in marine construction, underwater construction, or heavy civil construction strongly preferred. Ability to effectively lead crews, communicate with project teams, and make sound decisions in fast-paced field environments. Ability and willingness to travel extensively based on project needs. Additional certifications preferred; must be willing to obtain upon hire: First Aid/CPR/AED Emergency O2 Provider
