In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting, loading, and unloading household and commercial items. Duties Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Operate various vehicles including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery and moving services in compliance with DOT regulations and traffic laws Drive route-specific vehicles while adhering strictly to traffic regulations, ensuring timely deliveries or pickups Assist customers with moving items into or out of their homes or businesses with excellent customer service skills Use mobile devices to document deliveries, update logs, or communicate with team members during routes Load and unload cargo efficiently by following safe lifting practices and weight handling procedures in the workplace Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle fleet and moving equipment at all times Experience Prior moving experience or familiarity with moving company operations is preferred Experience operating commercial trucks or box trucks is highly desirable Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and experience with manual handling techniques Familiarity with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and consistently while following safe lifting practices Valid driver's license suitable for operating commercial vehicles or courier vans; commercial driving experience is a plus Understanding of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to vehicle operation and weight handling in the workplace Join us as a Professional Mover and become part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional service!
