You will be responsible for safely handling, transporting, and delivering items while ensuring customer satisfaction and adhering to all safety regulations. Whether you're experienced in warehouse operations or new to the moving industry, this position is vital in helping clients transition seamlessly to their new spaces. Responsibilities Safely load, unload, and transport household or commercial goods using box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and manual handling tools to move heavy or bulky items. Follow established routes and traffic regulations to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Assist customers with loading and unloading items, providing excellent customer service throughout the process. Adhere to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices during all manual handling tasks. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and inventory using mobile devices or other digital tools. Ensure all cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents. Skills Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation. Experience driving commercial trucks, box trucks, or van drivers with a focus on delivery driving. Strong understanding of manual transmission vehicles and safe driving practices for heavy vehicles. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper manual handling techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Knowledge of route planning, traffic regulations, and load & unload procedures for efficient deliveries. Competence in using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and documentation purposes.
