In this role, you will be an essential part of building durable, high-quality structures by assisting with various concrete-related tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence at every stage. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about construction and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare construction sites by setting up forms, scaffolding, and safety barriers according to blueprint specifications. Mix and pour concrete using mixers, ensuring proper consistency and placement for various project needs. Install rebar and other reinforcement materials to strengthen concrete structures in accordance with technical drawings. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for tasks such as cutting, drilling, and lifting heavy materials. Follow blueprint plans and schematics to interpret technical drawings accurately for formwork construction and finishing details. Perform finishing tasks including smoothing, troweling, and sealing concrete surfaces to meet quality standards. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations, including proper use of hand tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety protocols during all operations. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment, and materials. Experience with construction estimating processes and reading detailed blueprints or schematics. Proficiency in concrete forming, pouring, cutting, finishing, and related masonry work. Ability to operate concrete mixers, pumps, heavy machinery, and power tools efficiently and safely. Skilled in rebar installation, formwork construction, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, welding, restoration work, framing carpentry, masonry work, and working on renovation projects. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and the ability to implement safety protocols consistently. Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings such as blueprints and schematics for precise project execution. Experience working on commercial or residential construction sites with a focus on safety compliance.
