Duties Assist with the assembly, disassembly, and cleaning of concrete pumping equipment and hoses. Support the concrete pump operator by preparing work areas, including setting up safety barriers and ensuring clear access. Help with the delivery and positioning of concrete mixers, ensuring proper flow for pouring operations. Carry out heavy lifting tasks involving concrete materials, rebar, formwork components, and other supplies needed for construction projects. Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Aid in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate placement of concrete and related structures. Assist with additional tasks such as rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete finishing, and minor carpentry work as needed on-site. Skills Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and troubleshooting. Construction estimating familiarity for understanding project scope and materials handling. Experience working on construction projects involving heavy lifting, concrete pouring, and finishing techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment operation relevant to concrete work. Skills in rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete cutting, caulking, plastering, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, renovation work, and metal stud framing are highly desirable.
