About the
Position:
We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead concrete placement operations and support field engineering activities on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on concrete experience, and the ability to manage crews while coordinating with project management, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades. This position requires a knowledgeable construction professional who can oversee concrete pours from preparation through completion while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead daily concrete crew operations, including manpower assignments, equipment coordination, and production planning. Manage concrete placement activities including footings, foundations, slabs, walls, equipment pads, and structural concrete. Coordinate concrete deliveries, pump operations, finishing crews, and site logistics to ensure efficient pours. Perform pre-pour inspections to verify reinforcing steel, embeds, anchor bolts, forms, dimensions, and site readiness. Direct crews during concrete placement, finishing, curing, and cleanup activities. Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards. Monitor crew productivity, labor hours, material usage, and equipment utilization. Train and mentor field employees on proper construction methods and safety practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Assist with field layout, measurements, elevations, and verification of installed work. Perform quantity calculations for concrete, reinforcing steel, and related materials. Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with field coordination and problem resolution. Document daily progress, manpower, equipment, site conditions, and project activities. Prepare and maintain daily reports, inspection documentation, and field records. Identify potential conflicts between plans and field conditions and communicate solutions. Coordinate with General Contractors, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in concrete construction with proven leadership experience. Experience supervising concrete placement crews. Experience in Commercial Construction work including but not limited to: Civil, Park Development, Parking Lot Development, and TIs. Experience in concrete forming, reinforcing, placement, finishing, and curing processes, including forming and pouring Post-Tension Pads. Ability to read and interpret structural, civil, and architectural drawings. Experience coordinating large concrete pours and managing field operations. Strong understanding of construction safety practices and OSHA requirements. Ability to communicate effectively with crews, clients, inspectors, and project teams. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working with General Contractors and construction management teams. Knowledge of construction documentation, RFIs, and project coordination. OSHA 30 certification. Concrete testing or ACI certifications. Experience with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, climb, and perform physical construction activities. Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as required. Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime when project schedules require.

$36.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
