In this vital role, you will operate and maintain concrete pumping equipment to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of concrete on various civil infrastructure projects. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth paving operations, support rebar installation, and contribute to the successful completion of large-scale construction endeavors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery, uphold safety standards, and be an integral part of building durable infrastructure. Duties Operate concrete pumping equipment, including boom pumps and line pumps, to deliver concrete accurately on construction sites Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Coordinate with project managers, masons, and other crew members to schedule and execute concrete pours efficiently Assist with the setup of paving equipment such as screeds and asphalt pavers for smooth surface finishes Follow all safety regulations and protocols related to heavy equipment operation, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and site-specific safety plans Support rebar installation and other preparatory tasks necessary for concrete placement Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety checks Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery, including concrete pumps, paving equipment, and commercial trucks Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Familiarity with working on civil infrastructure projects involving concrete, asphalt paving, rebar installation, and screeds Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, quantities, and mixing ratios for concrete and bituminous materials Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards, DOT regulations, and site-specific safety protocols Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent for operating large trucks or mixers as needed Experience with concrete pumping procedures, asphalt paving techniques, and working with screeds or concrete mixers Excellent understanding of construction site operations with a focus on safety protocol adherence Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and minor repairs in the field Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment on demanding construction projects Join us in building lasting infrastructure while advancing your career in a fast-paced environment that values safety, skill development, and teamwork!
