Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Cutting Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized cutting equipment to accurately cut concrete, masonry, and other hardscape materials on various construction sites. Your expertise will help ensure precise installations and efficient project progress, contributing to the successful completion of diverse building and hardscaping projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on challenging projects that demand skill, safety awareness, and a proactive attitude. Duties Operate concrete cutting tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to execute precise cuts in concrete, brick, stone, and other building materials. Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to determine cutting requirements. Assist with removal of demolition debris. Concrete, asphalt, wood and miscellaneous construction debris. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery such as saws, core drills, and wall cutters to complete cutting tasks. Follow strict safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment on outdoor construction sites. Collaborate with project managers, construction inspectors, and team members to ensure work aligns with project timelines and quality standards. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime. Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as concrete saws, core drills, and other power tools used in hardscaping construction projects. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions on construction sites. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction site hazards. Excellent hand tool skills along with experience in hardscape construction projects such as patios or walkways. Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors effectively.
