Job Summary A + Quality Concrete Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced, hands-on Concrete Construction Foreman to lead field crews on commercial, public works, and agricultural projects across the Central Valley. The ideal candidate is a skilled finisher and leader who can read blueprints, manage job site flow, direct crew members, enforce safety standards, and ensure high-quality execution on foundations, slabs, footings, and structural flatwork. Key Duties & Responsibilities
Site Supervision:
Direct daily job site operations, assign tasks to crew members, and maintain project schedules from subgrade prep to final cleanup.
Hands-on Craftsmanship:
Perform and oversee site grading, formwork assembly, rebar/mesh reinforcement installation, concrete pours, and finishing (broom, stamped, and structural finishes).
Plans & Specifications:
Read and interpret construction blueprints, structural drawings, grade stakes, and elevation layouts accurately.
Material & Equipment Management:
Coordinate concrete deliveries, monitor material usage, and oversee proper operation and maintenance of power tools, finishing equipment, and machinery.
Quality & Safety Control:
Ensure all finished work meets structural codes, job specifications, and safety guidelines (OSHA / tailgate safety compliance).
Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact on-site, communicating effectively with site managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and company management. Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Concrete Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on concrete construction experience (foundations, flatwork, footings, and structural pours).
Leadership Experience:
1-2+ years in a leadership, leadman, or foreman role managing field crews.
Technical Skills:
Strong ability to read blueprints, set forms to grade, calculate yardage, and execute various finishing techniques.
Driver's License:
Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus).
Language:
Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in Central Valley weather conditions, and perform active manual labor as needed alongside the crew.
Pay:
$30.47 - $36.69 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
