Job Description

Concrete Project ManagerLocation:
Costa Mesa, CASalary:
$120,000 - $170,000 (Experience Dependent)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Concrete Project Manager to oversee structural, architectural, and decorative concrete construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, client relationships, and overall project execution while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience managing complex commercial concrete projects and is comfortable overseeing a wide range of applications including structural concrete, architectural concrete finishes, decorative concrete, site hardscape, cast-in-place systems, and custom concrete solutions. This individual will play a key role in coordinating field operations and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.

The company is recognized for its craftsmanship, innovation, attention to detail, and successful delivery of landmark commercial, institutional, healthcare, public works, and mixed-use projects throughout California.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage concrete construction projects from preconstruction through project closeoutDevelop and maintain project budgets, schedules, cost forecasts, and reportingCoordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and field teamsReview contracts, construction documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure scope accuracyManage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted servicesTrack project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentationMonitor project progress and ensure schedule milestones are achievedCollaborate with Superintendents and field personnel to support successful project executionIdentify and resolve constructability issues, scheduling conflicts, and project risksMaintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with project specificationsLead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholdersQualifications3+ years of Project Management experience in concrete constructionExperience managing commercial concrete projects from start to finishStrong knowledge of structural concrete, decorative concrete, cast-in-place concrete, and site concrete scopesAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contractsProven ability to manage budgets, schedules, cost controls, and multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience coordinating with General Contractors, architects, and design teamsStrong understanding of construction sequencing and concrete installation practicesPreferredExperience with architectural concrete finishes, decorative concrete, and specialty concrete applicationsExperience managing healthcare, public works, educational, institutional, or commercial projectsBackground working with self-performing concrete contractorsFamiliarity with Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6, or similar construction management softwareOSHA 30 CertificationExperience with large-scale hardscape, paving, plaza, or site development projectsCandidates that complete skills assessments and screening questions will move to the front of the application process.
