Job Description
GA Technical Services, Inc. is seeking dependable General Laborers with concrete construction experience to support electrical infrastructure and switchgear replacements We have prevailing wage public works position performing concrete work in support of electrical construction Job Duties Assist with the layout, forming, pouring, and finishing of concrete pads, footings, and slabs Read and interpret construction drawings and plans related to concrete installations Assist electricians and foremen with electrical construction activities Perform trenching, excavation, backfilling, and site preparation Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment Install conduit and assist with wire pulling as needed Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Follow OSHA safety standards Perform other construction labor duties as assigned Requirements Experience with concrete construction , including pads, footings, and slabs Ability to read and interpret construction plans for concrete work Ability to pass CDCR prison clearance and background screening Background that qualifies for access to California state correctional facilities Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift at least 50 lbs Reliable transportation Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious with a strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications Experience on public works or prevailing wage projects OSHA 10 Certification Experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
