In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to concrete construction, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your expertise will contribute to building durable structures and beautiful hardscape features that stand the test of time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, from foundations to decorative finishes, while adhering to strict safety protocols and quality standards. Duties Prepare construction sites by setting up formwork, rebar installation, and ensuring proper alignment according to blueprints and technical drawings Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and hand tools to pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces Interpret construction plans and blueprints to accurately execute concrete forms, slabs, sidewalks, driveways, and other hardscape features Cut and shape concrete using specialized tools such as saws and grinders for precise fitting and finishing Install rebar reinforcement within forms to strengthen concrete structures in accordance with engineering specifications Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while handling materials such as concrete bags, rebar, form panels, and other supplies Follow all safety regulations related to construction workplace safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of power tools Qualifications Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete-related tasks and heavy lifting Strong knowledge of mechanical systems used in concrete mixing and placement processes Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Skilled in concrete forming, finishing techniques, cutting, pouring, and stamping hardscape surfaces Familiarity with construction estimating concepts for material quantities and project timelines is a plus Knowledge of safety protocols specific to construction workplaces including OSHA regulations or equivalent standards Competence in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, hammers, as well as power tools like saws and drills Experience with rebar installation, metal stud framing, tile laying, plastering, caulking, stucco application or similar finishes is advantageous Ability to interpret blueprint specifications accurately for precise execution of projects Join our team if you're eager to build exceptional structures while maintaining a safe work environment!
